Reflection:
fast shutter speed
1. Approximately what shutter speed did you use to freeze action?
In picture 1 the shutter speed was 1/50 of a second.
2. What ISO and WB settings did you use?
My ISO was set to 400.
3. If you were on a point and shoot camera, what setting(s) did you use?
My setting was a rode located on the school in between the school and turf field.
4. What action did you freeze? (Describe).
I was abl too take a pcture of caroline riding a scooter.
5. What was your distance, and point of view for the photo?
I was far away from her and off to the right side.
6. Describe any compositional elements (tools) that are present in or that strenghthen the photo.(rule of thirds, positive and negative space, line, shape, pattern, texture, strong colors, contrast...)
I chose to capture her on the right vertical line for the concept of rule of thirds. I chose to have Caroline be ocused and the background blurry.
slow shutter speed
1. Approximately what shutter speed did you use to purposely blur action?
In picture 3 the shutter speed was set to 1/30 of a second.
2. What ISO and WB settings did you use?
My ISO was set to 64.
3. If you were on a point and shoot camera, what setting(s) did you use?
(cell phone)
4. What motion, or part of the image shows blur? (Describe).
The background and some of the car shows blur.
5. What was your distance, and point of view for the photo?
My distance was at least feet and towards the back of the car, but on the side.
6. Describe any compositional elements (tools) that are present in or that strenghthen the photo.(rule of thirds, positive and negative space, line, shape, pattern, texture, strong colors, contrast...)
I chose to capture the car on the left vertical line for the rule of thirds.

Painting with Light
Reflection:
1. Describe one of your photos from painting with light.
The 6th photo is of christmas lights, but it looks like electricity.
2. What shutter speed did you have the camera on?
The shutter speed was on 5 seconds.
3. What light source did you use to create the painting?
We used Christmas lights in the 6th photo.
4. How did you achieve the image/effect?
We put the lights in a ball and had someone move it around with their fingers.
5. What impact does the photo have? How would the viewer feel looking at your photo?
The photo just represents a cool way of light being formed into an electricity effect. A person who would be looking at this photo would think it would be electricity and never realize it was just Christmas lights.

Color Correction
Aperture
such as Reflection:
Select one of your images that show a shallow depth of field.
1. What f-stop did you have your camera set to create a shallow depth of field?
I had my f-stop set to f/10 for a shallow depth of field for photos 2 and 3.
2. What ISO and WB settings did you use?
The ISO was set to 800 and white balance was set to incandescent.
Discuss one of your images that show a large depth of field.
1. What f-stop did you have your camera set to create a large depth of field?
The f-stop was set to f/10 for a large depth of field for photos 1 and 2.
2. What ISO and WB settings did you use?
The ISO was set to 800 and the white balance was set to incandescent.
Which photo is better? Why?
Photos 1 and 2 are better than photos 3 and 4 because the objects are better focused compared to photos 3 and 4.
Why would you want to use a shallow depth of field?
You would want to use a shallow depth of field to get either the foreground or background in focus.
When/in what situation would a large depth of field be better?
You would want a large depth of field for when you want both the foreground and background in focus, for example if you were to take a picture of the ocean you would want to have the whole photo in focus.
